John,
Republicans are trying everything they can to take over our states' highest courts.
Just look at Wisconsin — where Elon Musk has dumped money into running attack ads against Judge Susan Crawford, who is on the ballot April 1 to fill the open seat on the state’s Supreme Court.
Musk and his aligned committees are spending millions to support Crawford's opponent, anti-choice extremist Brad Schimel, who called Wisconsin's 1849 criminal abortion ban "valid" and was advocating for it to be implemented even before Roe v. Wade was overturned.
And in North Carolina — the last uncertified race from 2024 — Republicans and Jefferson Griffin are still trying to overturn the results of the state Supreme Court election and are using the courts to try to throw out 65,000 legal ballots.
Justice Riggs won by 734 votes in November, and not one, but two (!!) recounts have confirmed that she is the winner.
But the GOP is determined to seize office by whatever means necessary. And they know how much power lies with our state Supreme Court justices.
We won't stand for anti-democracy, anti-choice extremists buying their way into power and circumventing the will of the people.
So please, will you donate now to stand up to GOP extremists and help elect fair and impartial justices like Susan Crawford and Allison Riggs to our states' highest courts?
