Friend,
We all have a Waffle House story.
Maybe it was a late-night stop after a long shift…
A post-game celebration with the kids…
Or just a hot meal that hit the spot…
No matter where you live, small businesses like Waffle House are part of the fabric of our communities.
But right now, our state’s broken legal system is threatening their success.
Places like Waffle House — and thousands of local businesses across the country — aren’t just paying for bacon and eggs…
They’re paying outrageous legal bills, fighting off frivolous lawsuits, and getting smothered and covered in skyrocketing insurance costs.
Just look at the numbers here in Georgia:
→ Georgia has 22% of all Waffle House locations but racks up 37% of their litigation costs.
→ Their insurance premiums have shot up 235% since 2018 — more than DOUBLE what they used to pay!
And getting sued in Georgia costs:
→ 5x more than in Florida
→ 9x more than in Texas
→ 21x more than in South Carolina
→ 27x more than in Alabama

This is NOT right. Do you agree?

Small businesses aren’t asking for a handout — they just want a fair shot to stay open, create jobs, and serve their communities.
But if we don’t fix this broken system, they won’t survive.
That’s why Governor Kemp is leading the charge to pass TORT REFORM in Georgia — to shut down lawsuit abuse, cut costs, and protect small business owners from getting steamrolled by frivolous legal attacks.

If you believe in standing up for Georgia businesses, can you pitch in just $4—about the cost of a Waffle—to help Governor Kemp get the job done?

A MESSAGE FROM BRIAN KEMP

More than 35 years ago, I started my first business with nothing but a pickup truck and a shovel.
Since taking office as Governor of Georgia in 2019, I’ve put hardworking Georgians and their families first!
We’ve championed legislation to cut taxes for working families, crack down on crime, end human trafficking, reform foster care and adoption, and support our students and educators.
When Georgia became the first state to reopen during the COVID-19 pandemic, I made sure we protected both lives and livelihoods. As a result, we’ve seen historic economic investment, and we’ve continued to lead the way in creating opportunities at every corner of the state.
And we’re not stopping there!
Marty, the girls, and I are working hard to ensure Georgia’s best days are ahead of us.
But, we can’t do it alone. Our accomplishments are only possible with a team of strong grassroots supporters like YOU by my side.

So, today I’m asking for your support in my continued fight to improve the way of life for hardworking families. Will you join me?
Thank you,
Brian Kemp
