Hi John,
This evening, disturbing footage was released showing ICE officers arresting and detaining Mahmoud Khalil—a lawful permanent resident and recent Columbia graduate—in direct retaliation for his speech for Palestinian rights. This is not just an attack on Khalil. The footage is chilling and highly emotional. It’s part of the Trump administration’s escalating crackdown on dissent, including revoking green cards and visas based on political beliefs or protected speech.
We must act now. Join us TONIGHT at 8 PM ET for an emergency Know Your Protest Rights Training.

Resistance starts with knowledge. When our rights are under attack, we need to be prepared to defend them— in the streets, in our communities, and wherever power is being exercised. This training will equip you to:
* Assert your rights when protesting
* Protect yourself and others from law enforcement retaliation
* Push back against these unconstitutional attacks on free speech

We cannot allow this injustice to continue. The First Amendment protects us all —but Trump’s administration is weaponizing the immigration system to silence dissent. No one should be ripped from their home and detained for their political beliefs or protected speech.
If you can’t make it to our training, take action by signing our petition to demand that the Trump Administration Free Mahmoud Khalil! Demand that ICE and the Trump administration free Mahmoud Khalil - Sign our petition now! [[link removed]]
