Dear John,

Happy Women’s History Month! This month, I’m honoring the women who came before me and the women who will continue to fight for our rights for decades to come.

As we celebrate women this month, we must acknowledge the increased attacks on women and our rights since President Trump has taken office.

We are still grappling with the repercussions of the overturning of Roe v. Wade by the Supreme Court Justices he installed during his first term. Several women have died and countless more have been harmed due to lack of care.

Here are just some of the actions his administration has taken against women in the first 2 months:

  • Made it easier to intimidate women at clinics and pardoned those convicted of assault at clinics.
  • Dropped the case to compel Idaho to provide all necessary emergency medical care to pregnant women.
  • Fired Linda Fagan, the first female Coast Guard commandant and Chief of Naval Operations Adm., Lisa Franchetti.
  • Gutted decades-old protections from the Civil Rights and Equal Employment Opportunity Act that required companies with federal contracts to make an effort to hire women and minorities.
  • Cancelled scientific and medical research that focused on women.
  • Pardoned men convicted of domestic abuse and sexual assault.
  • Eliminated healthcare, security, and food programs aiding women and families around the world.

With Trump in office, women are in danger.

With his attacks on our most sacred rights and hateful speech spreading, we need to protect women even more than before.

I have advocated for women my entire career, pushing for abortion protections and standing up for our freedoms.

My Democratic colleagues and I need your help as the Trump Administration continues to threaten our rights. Donate today to join my fight >>>

I will continue standing up for women, no matter who is in the White House.

Thank you,

Judy
