Friends,

Don’t forget the virtual 350 Fairfax general meeting on Thursday, June 4, at 7:30 pm! This is what’s on the agenda:

  • Learn: Our guest speaker will be Sam Bleicher, an adjunct professor at Georgetown Law School and author of the novel The Plot to Cool the Planet. In his career, Sam practiced all aspects of environmental law, including federal and state legislation and regulations. He was also a member and vice chair of the Virginia Air Pollution Control Board from June 2014 to November 2018. Sam will join us to talk about his novel and also about what people know and don’t understand about the future of climate disruption.
  • Discuss: Sam’s presentation will be followed by Q&A, so bring your questions! We’ll also spend a few minutes providing updates on Fairfax County’s CECAP process and other 350 Fairfax business.
  • Act: We are continuing to work with our partners to elevate meaningful opportunities to help out in our communities during this crisis, and we will share several of these opportunities at the top of the meeting.

To receive instructions about how to join the event online, RSVP here. (We will send the event link only to those who RSVP.)
