From April to August of last year, our dedicated team of volunteers organized in their communities to help us conduct a nationwide health care survey, and the results are in!
This survey aimed to take a snapshot of people’s experiences with our existing health care system and current attitudes towards Medicare for All.
Unsurprisingly, we found that the vast majority of people across the U.S. cannot afford the care they need when they need it, and view Medicare for All as the solution to our health care crisis.
With Medicare for All legislation coming up for reintroduction in Congress this spring, we need elected officials and candidates to hear this message loud and clear: Medicare for All is a popular policy, with people across the political spectrum, and can win elections.
Help us spread the word: first, read our report for yourself here.
Then take the next step: send a letter to your U.S. Representative and Senators urging them to read our survey report and support Medicare for All!
Especially in this challenging political moment, it’s important that we remind our elected officials what truly matters to their constituents. Thanks for sharing our survey results far and wide so we can build the political will to pass Medicare for All and achieve health care justice for everyone in our country.
In solidarity,
Nurses' Campaign to Win Medicare for All
