FUNDING UPDATE: The U.S. government has terminated all funding agreements for UNFPA, the United Nations sexual and reproductive health agency. The impact that this will have on the women and girls we serve will be devastating.
Will you rush an emergency donation right now to sustain programs for women, girls, pregnant mothers, and infants? [[link removed]?]

Ramadan is here, and new mothers and newborns in Gaza need your blessings more than ever.
Only 19 out of 36 hospitals in Gaza are functioning. Shelters are overcrowded and unsafe. Nearly 2 million people are displaced and there are critical shortages of food, water, and medical supplies.
Due to deteriorating conditions and infrastructure, newborns and expectant mothers are facing much higher health risks.
Restricted movement, settler violence, and roadblocks can delay access to lifesaving care, further endangering the lives of mothers and newborns. In response, UNFPA has worked to scale up lifesaving services in Gaza:
* 14,000 women and girls reached in February alone
* Over 80,000 people received sexual reproductive health services, including emergency care
* 38,000 individuals assisted with GBV prevention and response services
With nearly all U.S. funding for UNFPA’s lifesaving work terminated, the future of these services in Gaza and other crisis-stricken regions has never been more uncertain. We already know that eight mobile health clinics will be forced to shut down, and the supply of Dignity Kits for 50,000 women and girls, and menstrual supplies for over 280,000 will also likely stop without funding.
That’s why, this Ramadan, your support has never been more urgent. We need your help to ensure women and girls have the care they need during the holiest time of year. Will you give the gift of peace, health, and safety today? [[link removed]?]

We condemn the violence in Lebanon, Gaza, the West Bank, and Israel, and hope for a sustained humanitarian ceasefire, the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages by Hamas, and an end to the violence. The suffering must end and peace must prevail.
Thank you for being a part of this lifesaving work.
