Dr. Oz, Donald Trump’s nominee to serve as Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, just had his hearing before the Senate Finance Committee. He was asked point-blank whether or not he would support cuts to Medicaid―and he refused to rule it out.
Republicans in Congress are currently planning nearly $1 trillion in cuts to Medicaid―which provides health insurance for low-income people and is the largest provider of long-term care for retirees in the country―to pay for more tax cuts for billionaires like Elon Musk.
People with Medicare and Medicaid deserve a leader who will fight for them. Dr. Oz ain’t it.
Send a message to your Senators: A vote for Dr. Oz is a vote to cut Medicaid!
Let there be no confusion. Dr. Oz will be Trump’s point man for the destruction of Medicaid.
Dr. Oz's job at CMS is to be on the inside when they rip health care away from tens of millions of people.
Use your voice to stop him. Save Medicare and Medicaid―oppose Dr. Oz!
