As a public school teacher, I've dedicated my life to educating our children. And I know that nutrition and learning go hand in hand. Every study shows that.

That's why I'm TRULY OUTRAGED by the recent decision from the Trump administration to cut over $1 billion in funding that allowed schools and food banks to purchase fresh, local food for our students and communities.

These cuts mean that programs which have been vital in providing nutritious meals to our children and supporting local farmers, are being dismantled. This is where the priorities of MAGA extremists lie – undermining the health and well-being of our most vulnerable.

Meanwhile, Trump is fighting for a tax cut for him and his ultra-rich, billionaire pals like Elon Musk. It’s disgusting, it’s amoral, and it NEEDS to stop. Luckily, in less than three weeks, we have the opportunity to flip this seat and send a clear message.

But I can't do it alone; I need your support to fight back against these injustices.
