Friend,

I wanted to take a moment and personally thank you for your incredible support last month. We came up just short of our goal, but I'm so grateful for your contributions. I understand it's been a tough time and I have high hopes for June.

As we contend with our third month of quarantine and widespread unrest stemming from racial inequity in our criminal justice system, it’s a difficult time for all of us. I'm proud of the thousands in our community who came out in Fresno, Bakersfield, and Visalia to peacefully demand for racial and economic justice. It's important that we do not stay silent in the face of injustice, but instead work to demand change.

Know that I am thinking of you in this challenging time.
