This is a time to fight.

I know I speak for a lot of House Democrats when we say we are furious.

No Senate Democrat should be voting for this terrible funding bill — a slap in the face that hurts working people and strips away funding from veterans and hospitals — all while lining their own pockets and handing Trump even more power. 

I’m urging my Democratic colleagues in the Senate to hear us House Democrats who stood strong against this horrific continuing resolution — and to fight. 

I’m asking them to vote NO and STAY STRONG. Americans want us to fight for them. I can promise you I will.
