There’s a deadline at midnight tonight.

The Senate is considering a funding bill passed on a partisan basis in the House that revokes funding for programs that millions of Veterans depend on. It’ll give Elon Musk unchecked power over government funding. Trump’s in the driver's seat.

If they pass this budget, it’s going to do immeasurable harm to these Veterans.

If they don’t pass it, we’ll be in a government shutdown.

Either way, there’s going to be pain. What happens next really matters.

VoteVets is going to need to work harder than ever to defend the Veterans we represent. We’re going to need to do a lot of overtime to defend the thousands of VA staff who have illegal firings hanging over their heads. We’re going to need to fight like hell for the thousands of Veterans whose jobs are at risk from Elon Musk and DOGE.
