New Website Progress

The new website design is progressing and we are less than $1,000 from having it completely paid for. The speed at which funds were committed by our supporters is an example the level of commitment you all have to seeing the party grow and succeed. Our website design committee is working hard to provide a website that reflects the Constitution Party and is easy to use. This process will take 4-6 months to complete, which is why it was so important to get started right away. We will release the launch date when we have a better idea of when it will be ready.

Our current Webmaster has taken on the responsibility of an Area Chairman and we are looking for a new webmaster to allow him to focus his time on growing the party in his area.?

State Affiliates are Having Their State Committee Meetings

Our State Affiliates have State Committee Meetings to elect officers and direct the party business in their States. This is a great opportunity for you to connect with your State party officers and find out what you can do to support their local efforts. We are looking to develop county organizations in every county and your involvement may be exactly what is needed.

"All politics is local." Tip O'neill. The greatest effect you can have on your political freedoms starts at the local level. There are things that impact each of us on a day-to-day basis that we can have influence in. Whether you consider yourself "political" or not, politics effect you. With the Constitution Party, you have the opportunity to make a change in your community and defend the rights of the individuals there.

250 Year Anniversaries of the American Revolution

There are many events from the American Revolution celebrating their 250 year anniversaries over the next 15 years. As these anniversaries arrive, be sure to commemorate these milestones in your community and call to remembrance the meaning and importance of each one. From Patrick Henry's "Give me Liberty, or give me Death" <[link removed]> speech to the culmination of the Declaration of Independence <[link removed]> to the many battles won and lost. The long journey to independence and freedom had many facets that create the picture of the American Revolution and help explain the purpose of the U.S. Constitution.

How Do You Make A Difference In Your Own Community?

Many people are unaware of the workings of local government and the impact that they can have in their communities. And, while a single individual can have an impact, a group of individuals who are organized can control their government's behavior. So how do you make a difference?

1.? The first step is to familiarize yourself with how things work. Start attending local municipal and school board meetings and meeting likeminded individuals. Join local groups of likeminded people who share similar goals to us.

2.? Get organized. One person cannot do everything that will need done. You can get a group of likeminded individuals organized to be more effective and to decrease the workload for everyone.

3.? Establish a Constitution Party organization in your area and run your own vetted candidates.

4.? Hold all public functionaries accountable.

STATE LAWS

We are looking to build a comprehensive manual on how to gain ballot access in each State, how to be officially recognized as a political party in each State, and the steps to run candidates in each State. If you are familiar with the election laws in your State, please send us a message or a link to the State statute regarding these issues.

We also want to hear about the election integrity issues in your State that local candidates can focus on.
