That’s why today I am thrilled to introduce the WRI Polsky Center for the Global Energy Transition made possible by a transformational $75 million gift from the Polsky Foundation. The center will work to modernize and expand energy grids, scale financing and deployment, source critical minerals responsibly and build a skilled and future-ready workforce.

The WRI Polsky Energy Center will combine our renowned experts, a world-class Advisory Group and a diverse network of partners to deliver pragmatic, scalable solutions.

By harnessing WRI’s analytical power, convening ability and global expertise, we are driving the transition to a clean, abundant, affordable and reliable energy future.

We are incredibly grateful that Michael and Tanya Polsky have chosen to invest in WRI. This is part of a combined $100 million contribution to WRI and the University of Chicago to accelerate the global energy transition.
