Wow, folks.

The GOP-controlled Senate voted to confirm Tulsi Gabbard for Director of National Intelligence. To say I’m disappointed would be an understatement.

I worked tirelessly across the aisle to strike a bipartisan consensus on Gabbard. I thought my GOP colleagues would join me in recognizing the seriousness of this job and that they’d do what was right for our country’s safety and security. Instead, they ignored Gabbard’s questionable past and lack of experience and voted for her.

We need more Democrats in the Senate. Full stop. It couldn’t be more clear that Republicans will turn a blind eye to what’s right for our country in the name of party politics.

So I’m asking: will you chip in anything you can today to support my re-election campaign and flip the Senate blue in 2026? [link removed]
