Hi John!
We are excited to invite you to join SisterLove, SPARK Reproductive Justice NOW, Planned Parenthood Southeast Advocates, Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies, SisterSong, Faith in Public Life, and In Our Own Voice: National Black Women’s Reproductive Justice Agenda to take part in Black Maternal Health Advocacy Day, which will be held on Tuesday, February 18th, 2025, at the Georgia State Capitol.
This advocacy day is dedicated to amplifying the voices of Black birthing people and advocating for policies that address maternal health disparities in our communities. We will bring together advocates, policymakers, and community stakeholders to educate lawmakers, share stories, and advance policies that protect and support Black maternal health.
Our legislative sponsors State Representative Kim Schofield and State Representative, and State Senator Kim Jackson are working hard to obtain votes for the passage of the Black Maternal Health Resolution calling for, among other things, the creation of a Black Maternal Health Caucus.
We need your voice and your support!
