Hi Patriot, I'm Ted Budd.
I want to take a minute to tell you about why I fight so hard for the people
of North Carolina - and why I'm not backing down anytime soon.
As a conservative fighter, small business owner, and family man, you can
always trust that I'll stand up for what's right.

But it's been a long road to the United States Senate.
I grew up on a cattle and commercial chicken farm in rural Davie County. My
parents were small business owners, and from an early age, I learned that hard
work, family, and faith are the building blocks to success. I still live on
that farm today with my wife and three kids.

I met my wife, Amy Kate, in the former Soviet Union on a mission trip in
1991, the week before the collapse of communism. When we saw each other again
in the United States, I asked her on a date to ride motorcycles, and the rest
is history. We still enjoy mission trips and continue to serve in our church.
I am committed to strengthening the family and recognizing the cultural
battle we face to protect it. I am a proud Eagle Scout Dad and served as an
Assistant Scoutmaster. Amy Kate and I homeschooled our three children, and I
served as a board member of North Carolinians for Home Education.

I'm also a small business owner. I know what it's like to meet payroll, and I
have first-hand experience with the challenges faced by job creators across
North Carolina. After purchasing a failing gun store, I reopened it for local
police to train nearby, and it is now a thriving shooting sports retail store,
training center, and indoor range.
A graduate of Appalachian State University, I earned a Masters in Business
Administration from Wake Forest University where I was recognized as Mentor of
the Year. Amy Kate and I both earned Master's degrees from Dallas Theological
Seminary to acquire a Biblical lens for all of life.

I decided to run for Congress in 2016 to bring a business perspective to
Washington. In 2022, I was elected to the United States Senate, promising to
fight for our shared conservative values and the America First Agenda.
I've never stopped fighting for North Carolina, and I won't stop anytime soon.
As we head into the next great chapter of American history, will you chip in
