John,

As you know, I spent 26 years in the military and if there's one thing I learned, it's that when you notice a problem, you cannot walk by it.

It's part of our military culture that when you're complaining about something, you better be willing to step up and do something about it. That's how I went from yelling at my television to standing on the Senate floor.

Sadly, a number of Democrats don't share my mentality and prefer to accomplish nothing. I'm not ok with that. If you're not either, help me do something about it by pitching in today.

The Senate was created to be the most deliberative body – not anonymous holds, partisan bickering, scoring cheap political points, or clicks on stories.

I've been very vocal about the need for Washington to put partisanship aside so we can pass pragmatic policies that help the people we represent, but Democrats would rather complain than govern.

I'm not afraid to call obstructionists out for their willingness to ignore major problems and refusal to do their jobs, but by holding Democrats accountable, they've decided I'm the problem they can't ignore.

Now, the Left and liberal donors nationwide are stepping up to take back Arizona, and we need your help to push back!

In service,
Martha
