TELL THE U.S. SENATE: Trump says America will displace Palestinians from Gaza, takeover the area for development, and that Palestinians would have NO right to return to their homes. Trump is also fueling Netanyahu’s violence against Palestinians by offering him $8 billion more in weapons sales — bypassing standard Congressional review procedures. Sign the petition: Stop Trump’s horrific plans in Gaza and block his weapons sale to Netanyahu.
Hi, Violence against Palestinians is spiking in the West Bank, and Trump is fueling the violence with rhetoric and policy. Trump said he plans to displace all Palestinians from Gaza, develop the land, and take away the Palestinians’ right to return to their homes.1 Now, he’s also circumventing Congress to send $8 billion more in weapons to Israel.2 We saw during Netanyahu’s recent visit to the White House that he and Trump are on exactly the same page. There will be no end to violence against Palestinians until Congress places a check on America’s weapons support for Israel. The U.S. Senate can still step in and block Trump’s sale. Senator Bernie Sanders introduced a number of resolutions in an effort to stop the last weapons sale to Israel, and he vowed to do everything he can to block this new $8 billion deal.3 His last set of resolutions received a historic level of support in the Senate, but not enough to block the arms shipments. We need to build on this momentum to change the U.S.’s role in Gaza The ceasefire in Gaza is facing its first challenges. Israeli attacks in the West Bank are only getting worse. For there to be a true lasting peace for the Palestinian people, the United States must stop sending tens of billions of dollars of weapons to Netanyahu’s military. Sign the petition: Urge the U.S. Senate to oppose the Trump-Netanyahu weapons sale. Thanks for taking action, Sources:
