I do.
For over 23 years, I have been fighting to ensure that all patients—regardless of geography, age, or economic status—have access to medical cannabis. But I haven’t done this alone.

ASA promised to create access.
Today, 49 states, Washington D.C., and 4 of the 5 U.S. territories have enacted some form of medical cannabis law—because we built the infrastructure, crafted regulatory frameworks, and fought in courts to make it happen.
ASA promised to stop federal interference.
In 2014, we helped pass the CJS Amendment, barring the Department of Justice from prosecuting medical cannabis patients and providers—because we stood our ground with protest at over 320 DEA raids, filled courtrooms, and brought patients to Washington, D.C. for over a decade to demand change.
ASA promised to gain federal recognition of medical cannabis.
In 2023, the U.S. government admitted that cannabis has accepted medical use—because we created access programs that included medical reviews of cannabis as a treatment option and required medical professional participation, we opened up avenues for research into cannabis’ medical benefits, we created product safety standards for the cannabis supply chain, and we organized a global movement to change the scheduling of cannabis in international drug treaties.
But the fight isn’t over.
We need your help to fulfill the promise of Safe Access for All!
We face both challenges and opportunities in a new Congress and Administration. But without the resources to fight back, we risk losing hard-won progress and missing critical opportunities to advance medical cannabis access nationwide.
At the same time, businesses committed to serving patients are struggling—crippled by excessive taxes, debt, and limited market opportunities. This race to the bottom threatens the quality and availability of the medicine we rely on.
Friend, we need your help!
I can’t do this alone. Over the past two decades, thousands of advocates like YOU have stepped up to make this work possible.
Together, WE will:
Stop attacks on our limited federal protections
Mobilize healthcare stakeholders to join our fight
Close the gap between compassionate use and our healthcare system
Pass comprehensive federal medical cannabis legislation to:
- Restore patients’ rights
- End discrimination
- Redefine medicine
- Establish insurance coverage
