Visiting KenCrest

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to meet with the wonderful people at KenCrest, tour the home in my district, and talk about workforce challenges.  

 

KenCrest supports adults and children with intellectual or developmental disabilities through numerous options, including residential, community support programs, assistive technology, early intervention, and early learning centers. 

 

Unlock Your Best Life: Free Community Event

Neighbors, tonight is Unlock Your Best Life, a free community event from the Montgomery County coroner. Speakers from the Coroner's Office, Register of Wills, Recorder of Deeds, and Center for Loss & Bereavement will discuss how to prepare for sudden or expected loss, how to navigate processes after losing a loved one, and how to plan your own arrangements. Real ID Event  

Next week, I’m partnering with state Sen. Katie Muth and local colleagues to host a Real ID webinar on Wednesday, Feb. 19 from 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.!

Grant News!

I’m happy to share that the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection recently awarded a Growing Greener grant to the National Audubon Society for a Rain Garden project at the John James Audubon Center. Congratulations! 

 

The project will see the installation of a rain garden that will help reduce runoff and serve as an educational talking point for visitors about runoff and stormwater.

Pennsylvania State Tax forms are available for pickup in my district office! Please call ahead if you plan on stopping by to pick up a form!   

 

Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program Booklets Available in My Office!  

The Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program is open and accepting applications until June 30, 2025. This program, which is open to income-eligible older adults and people with disabilities 18 and older supports homeowners and renters across PA with rebates ranging from $380 to $1,000. 


The new booklets have been delivered to my district office and are available for pickup! If you need assistance filling out an application, please call ahead to schedule an appointment.
