Even though California has long been a blue state, Trump and Republicans
are doing everything they can to push policy and public opinion here to
the right.

From attempting to condition the aid to victims of the Southern California
wildfires, to targeting federal programs that provide healthcare coverage,
Republicans are doing things that will harm Californians.

And in November’s election we saw California voters shift to the right at
the presidential level.

Luckily, even as Democrats came up short in races across the country,
