When President Trump attempted to humiliate Ukrainian President Zelenskyy in the Oval Office, he didn't just betray our ally. He betrayed our nation's values.
Let's be clear, friend: Vladimir Putin is not our friend. He's a ruthless dictator who has ordered numerous journalists, activists, and political opponents murdered. His war in Ukraine is a flagrant, illegal attempt to seize more land and power.
As the co-chair of the Congressional Ukraine Caucus, I won't stand by while our 5-time draft-dodging president abandons our allies and bows down to Moscow. I'll always fight for liberty and democracy, at home and abroad.
