John, let’s make one thing PERFECTLY CLEAR:

While Donald Trump and Elon Musk take a chainsaw to Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, veteran’s benefits and public schools, and Republicans prepare to give billionaires a fat tax handout, House Democrats will not be complicit.

Nearly every House Democrat -- led by Leader Hakeem Jeffries -- stood strong and said HELL. NO. to the MAGA spending bill.

If Republicans want to avoid a shutdown, they should come to the table with Democrats to negotiate a bipartisan agreement that funds the government while not providing Trump and Musk with a blank check to wreak havoc on the federal government.

John, House Democrats will always fight for the best interests of the American people, even if that means standing up to fight against Donald Trump, Elon Musk and every MAGA Republican that seeks to destroy what we’ve worked so hard to build.
