Dear John
Exploring dreams and realities
“Hopefully with more time and more participants the message will be further embedded, and the stigma and embarrassment of poverty will be lifted so that more people can stand up and stare their stories. Supporting each other in this way and enabling people to voice their concerns and opinions will hopefully lead into action, and an end to poverty for all.”
That’s what Revd Amanda Mallen had to say this week, after exploring our Dreams and Realities portrait exhibition with her community on Church Action on Poverty Sunday.
You can read more of her thoughts - and see the artwork created by members of congregations - in Amanda’s blog on our website.

With your support, more people can speak out about the realities of poverty and share their dreams for a better world.
Your donations enable projects like Dreams and Realities to take place. The exhibition toured the UK during 2024. Everywhere it went, it inspired and challenged people to take action to end poverty.
The spirit of the Lord God is upon me,
because the Lord has anointed me;
he has sent me to bring good news to the oppressed,
to bind up the broken-hearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to the prisoners.
Isaiah 61
If you can, please make a donation today. Your support is vital to enable more people to share their dreams and realities.
