As Colorado's Attorney General, it’s my job to protect public safety across our state, support victims, and improve our criminal justice system—and I take that job to heart.

That’s why I took on the Trump administration when they unlawfully withheld funding from Colorado police and sheriffs, jeopardizing our public safety.

It’s why I fought for millions of dollars in new resources to recruit and train law enforcement officers, keep them on the force, and bolster police training for the first time in 40 years.

It’s why I fought for funding to ensure that law enforcement agencies have the resources they need to investigate and stop the flow of deadly fentanyl.

And it’s why I’ve fought and won to keep firearms out of the hands of domestic abusers and dangerous individuals—and it’s why I’ll take on the gun lobby if they try to skirt the law.

My job as Attorney General is to enforce our laws that keep our communities safe, and I take that responsibility seriously. But the fight doesn’t end there.
