Phil Weiser for Colorado

Friend,

We all deserve to live, work, and raise our families in safe Colorado communities. That’s why protecting public safety is one of my top priorities.

When I was growing up, the biggest threat to young people was traffic accidents. Today, gun violence and fentanyl have become the rising threats. Just as we made cars safer in order to save lives, we must take action on these new threats too.

That’s why I’m focused on tackling the root causes of crime and strengthening our communities—working directly with local leaders to find real solutions that work.

I’m fighting every day as Attorney General to make Colorado safer—taking on gun violence, the fentanyl crisis, and drug cartels. And as governor, I’ll continue this critical work to protect our communities. Donate today and help build a safer Colorado →

As Colorado's Attorney General, it’s my job to protect public safety across our state, support victims, and improve our criminal justice system—and I take that job to heart.

That’s why I took on the Trump administration when they unlawfully withheld funding from Colorado police and sheriffs, jeopardizing our public safety.

It’s why I fought for millions of dollars in new resources to recruit and train law enforcement officers, keep them on the force, and bolster police training for the first time in 40 years.

It’s why I fought for funding to ensure that law enforcement agencies have the resources they need to investigate and stop the flow of deadly fentanyl.

And it’s why I’ve fought and won to keep firearms out of the hands of domestic abusers and dangerous individuals—and it’s why I’ll take on the gun lobby if they try to skirt the law.

My job as Attorney General is to enforce our laws that keep our communities safe, and I take that responsibility seriously. But the fight doesn’t end there.

Just as I’ve fought relentlessly as your Attorney General, I’m ready to bring that same fight to the Governor’s office. Help me continue this important work by making a donation today →
