Donald Trump and Elon Musk are already shutting down the government. A vote to pass this partisan continuing resolution (CR) is a vote to continue this autocratic takeover and cut funding for human needs.

The Senate is voting today on the CR and they need to hear from us now.

Call the congressional switchboard and ask for your senator. After you speak with one office, call back and ask for your other senator. They need to hear from us NOW that a vote for this partisan CR is an abdication of congressional authority that continues to cede power to Trump and Musk.

Here’s a suggested call script:

"My name is _____ and I live in [TOWN/CITY]. I urge the senator to reject the partisan continuing resolution today. This bill cuts critical services and gives away Congress' power to control how our tax dollars are spent. Please urge the senator to vote NO on the cloture motion and final passage of the CR. Thank you."
