Team,

Earlier this month, I reintroduced the Voluntary Public Access Improvement Act, to reauthorize and strengthen the Voluntary Public Access and Habitat Incentive Program.

This important bipartisan legislation will expand public access to private land for hunting, angling, and wildlife viewing by incentivizing private landowners to open their lands for public use. Allowing people to experience the environments and habits that are in their communities, in turn, makes them more likely to defend, celebrate, and fight for it.

By improving access to the outdoors for all Americans, we can create more momentum towards the cause to protect our environment and wildlife against climate change.

I’m a fighter for wildlife and Michigan’s climate in Congress, which is why we need legislation like the Voluntary Public Access Improvement Act to protect our habitats and make critical steps in conservation.

Will you stand with me today and add your name next to mine in support of this legislation? With your support, I will continue protecting our environment and working across the aisle in Congress. It’s up to us to continue the movement to combat the climate crisis.

Thank you for your support.
