Breonna Taylor. George Floyd. Ahmaud Arbery. Tony McDade. And so many others.

Our justice system is racist and beyond broken. We encounter these systemic failings every single day: injustice plagues our courts and our neighborhoods, with police violence and brutality against people of color. This is the reality — and it is unacceptable.

Through our actions and our words, we want to be clear: Black Lives Matter. We join those fighting systematic racism and inequality. We all must do our part to reject white supremacy in all its forms.

Silence and inaction are not options. We know this is a challenging time, and that’s why we all must come together to do what’s right.

At Demand Justice, we are proud to support bail funds in communities across the country, as well as the Movement for Black Lives, NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, and Color of Change. In Minneapolis, we uplift Black Visions Collective and Reclaim the Block’s support for these groups who are also doing powerful work.

We join those demanding accountability from law enforcement and resisting police brutality. We will continue to do our part to create a more just and fair world for all — and we hope you’ll join us.
