Top Story: How to Create Systemic Change in the Wake of George Floyd's Murder
The searing pain on display in Minneapolis and across the country demands more. George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and so many others who have lost their lives to state violence deserve more. That is why we wrote to Congress yesterday, joined by 400 organizations, calling for swift and decisive action on meaningful police reform legislation.

We are also sharing our policing campaign's New Era of Public Safety report and toolkit, which offer a roadmap for community-driven policing that is safe, fair, and effective. And yesterday morning, President Obama recommended the report in his essay on creating real change.
