Competitors and allies alike are all investing heavily in renewable energy – insulating them to supply shocks, driving down the costs of energy, tackling climate change, and establishing energy independence. The United Kingdom closed its last coal powered plant last year and China now accounts for two-thirds of the world's utility-scale solar and wind projects under construction.

Clean energy is the future (and the present for many other countries!). The world is moving towards clean energy – no matter what Trump does . His backwards insistence on the fossil fuels of the past will only put us at a massive disadvantage.
