Building a Stronger Utah Through Sports and Community
Utah has long been the state of sport — we are also the state of extreme sport.
This June, we will host the Red Bull Soapbox Race in Salt Lake City. Teams will race their custom-built soapbox cars down Capitol Hill, and we invite all Utahns to get involved whether it’s by building a car or cheering on from the sidelines.
But we’re not stopping there. In 2030, Salt Lake City will welcome thousands of athletes for the State Games of America, strengthening our sports culture and paving the way for the 2034 Winter Olympics—when Utah will once again shine on the world stage.
We’re also thrilled to welcome League One Volleyball (LOVB) Salt Lake, adding another exciting layer to our growing sports scene.
This all culminates in more than just moments of competition—they’re opportunities to build community, connect, and showcase the spirit of innovation and collaboration that defines Utah.
