I just published Episode 7 of When Declaring a Firearm Goes Smoothly—even though one of the agents handling my check-in casually mentioned that he doesn’t like guns and "if he had one in his hand, he would probably shoot it." Not exactly what you expect to hear at an airport. But I just laughed it off, stayed polite, and, as usual, the process went smoothly.
