Action after action by the Trump Administration has been an overreach in executive powers and that is not how our democracy is designed to function.
The three branches of government have very separate but equal powers — not upholding those powers laid out in the Constitution would set a dangerous precedent.
We know that Donald Trump has said the quiet part out loud, and he is unafraid to use his broad interpretation of the powers of the executive branch to wage a partisan war against “Democrat cities,” blue states, or anyone else he sees as a political enemy.
