From the founding of VoteVets, one of our core objectives has been to find and support Veterans and National Security professionals who can win races no one else can. Abigail Spanberger is one of those candidates.

We were proud to endorse her first Congressional run, when she flipped a Republican House seat. We’ve been proud to stick with her in every race since. And today, we’re proud to be making the largest single donation in the 20-year history of our organization to Abigail’s campaign for governor.

We’re all in. We’re chipping in $500,000 to her campaign, and we’re going to do whatever we can to make sure she wins this November.

We’re not taking our eyes off of the Trump administration. That work is going to continue every day until we kick him out of the Oval Office for good, and send Elon and his billions packing. But we’re also excited to focus on the future and a post-Trump world.

This investment in Abigail’s race is part of that fight, and it underscores an essential piece of the struggle to defend our democracy: Helping the right leaders get to the right places where they can do the most good.

Abigail will win this race. She’s credible, she has impeccable character, she’s deeply committed to our democracy, and she’s focused on the issues Virgnians care about.
