AP News: DOGE’s access to Treasury data risks US financial standing and raises security worries, experts warn

This is alarming team:

Elon Musk’s DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) just tried to get access to sensitive U.S. Treasury systems – the same systems that handle Social Security and Medicare payments.

A federal judge had to step in to block it, but this is a warning for the kind of invasive overstepping that's to come. That kind of power could allow the Trump Administration to selectively block or delay payments that Congress already approved, putting the earned benefits millions of Americans rely on at risk.

This is not how our government is supposed to work. We can’t afford to let unelected donors like Elon Musk call the shots. Chris is fighting back to ensure no single person can curtail Congressional authority to allocate funds to Granite Staters.

Team – what do you think? Should the unelected, self-serving Musk have access to sensitive Treasury data, including Social Security and Medicare payment systems? >> [link removed]
