Hello John,
This year, as we honor Black History Month, we reflect on the significant strides made toward a diverse judiciary. In particular, at AFJ, we celebrate the progress made under President Biden towards a more diverse judiciary including 63 Black lifetime judicial appointments, 40 of those women. But we all know, the work is far from over. [[link removed]] AFJ remains committed to diversifying our judiciary, and while this work may be stymied at the federal level, we are pushing forward on state and magistrate judges to continue to build the pipeline of judges that represent the beautiful diversity of this country.

In these uncertain and troubling times under the Trump Administration, it is crucial that we continue to advocate for a judiciary that reflects the voices of all communities. Alliance for Justice remains committed to amplifying historically marginalized voices and combating exclusionary systems within our legal institutions. [[link removed]]
