STOP WORK ORDER: In Gaza, 50,000 pregnant women, already struggling to access basic necessities, face losing critical care as UNFPA’s mobile health teams are going to be forced to halt operations.
This is the wrong time to be scaling back our lifesaving work in Gaza. Will you rush a donation right now to sustain programs for women, girls, pregnant mothers, and infants? [[link removed]?]

Without power or shelter, parents and pregnant mothers in Gaza are fighting against unimaginable odds to keep their children alive in freezing conditions.
Women in Gaza are still giving birth to new life in the most unimaginable circumstances — despite bitter cold weather and a health care system in a state of utter collapse.
As winter sets in, an estimated 50,000 pregnant women in Gaza are expected to face acute cold and hunger. Stress, fear, and malnutrition take a toll on their newborns. Without adequate shelter, their children have a higher risk of succumbing to the elements as temperatures drop and freezing rains cover the region.
UNFPA is doing everything we can to make motherhood safer and provide lifesaving care for women and girls, but crucial funding remains suspended by the federal government. This pause of already-approved programs leaves millions in jeopardy and could disrupt our efforts to distribute Dignity Kits, Emergency Birth Kits, winter supplies, and more.
UNFPA is using every opportunity to meet the needs of displaced families and deliver lifesaving aid to women and girls in Gaza. But with so much need and so much uncertainty around our current and future funding, women and girls need your continued support to survive.
Will you rush an emergency gift today and deliver lifesaving care and humanitarian aid in Gaza and wherever care is needed most this winter? Women and girls are counting on your support today. [[link removed]?]

We condemn the violence in Lebanon, Gaza, the West Bank, and Israel, and hope for a sustained humanitarian ceasefire, the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages by Hamas, and an end to the violence. The suffering must end and peace must prevail.
Thank you for being there for women and girls.
