I have a lot to say about what’s happening in Washington right now — because I’ve heard from hundreds of my constituents who are furious. And frankly, I am too.

Donald Trump is using the full force of his presidency to wage petty vendettas. He hasn’t taken a single action to lower costs for working families. Instead, he’s making prescription drug prices soar, signing one illegal executive order after another, and handing over the reins of our government to Elon Musk.

The richest man in the world spent over $288 million to influence the 2024 election, and he’s acting as Trump’s shadow president. Well, I have news for them both: Elon Musk can get the hell out of our government.

If there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s that Republicans will defend Trump no matter how illegal or unethical his actions are. They will attack anyone who stands in their way. Their millions don’t scare me. The GOP doesn’t scare me. I was elected to fight for Coloradans, and that is exactly what I am doing.

At the first Energy & Commerce Health Subcommittee hearing this year, I made sure the American people knew exactly what’s happening. I also rallied with my colleagues outside the Department of Labor and said, loud and clear: We are not going to let an unelected billionaire and a convicted felon dismantle our democracy.
