DWC Form-005 Annual Filing Period February 1-April 30

Texas employers that do not provide workers' compensation coverage must file DWC Form-005, Employer Notice of No Coverage or Termination of Coverage.

This form:

  • Lets DWC know that an employer has opted out of the workers' compensation system or ended coverage.
  • Must be submitted every year between February 1 and April 30.

Filing is EZ this year with DWC's new E-File portal:

  • File annual notices online, from any device, 24 hours a day.
  • Non-subscribers can quickly report workplace illnesses, injuries, or deaths as Texas law requires.
