Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee just did the unthinkable:
they advanced Kash Patel’s nomination for FBI Director to the full Senate
for a vote. A man loyal to Trump – not the rule of law – is now one step
closer to leading our nation’s top law enforcement agency.

Let’s be very clear: Kash Patel was nominated to be director of the FBI
because of his loyalty to Trump. Patel’s eagerness to purge the FBI of
agents unwilling to demonstrate loyalty to Trump’s agenda and to
investigate and prosecute Trump’s perceived political enemies is extremely
alarming and should disqualify him from this role.

director of the FBI! >>

Even if you’ve already called to oppose Patel, keep calling – especially if you
have a Republican senator!

Democratic senators didn’t hold back in calling out their Republican
colleagues for advancing such an unfit nominee.

📢 Sen. Amy Klobuchar:

"How can Republican senators vote for an FBI director who says the press
is our most dangerous weapon, and not all the foreign terror threats? Can
Republican senators be brave enough to tell Trump no?"

📢 Sen. Richard Blumenthal:

"Willful ignorance and support of Kash Patel will turn the FBI […] into a
sycophantic goon squad ready to crush political opposition instead of the
independent law enforcement agency that the nation needs and deserves."

📢 Sen. Cory Booker:

"FBI agents who protect us are being targeted. I asked Patel if he knew
about plans to retaliate, he said no. But now whistleblowers show that
Patel not just knew about the purge in advance but directed it."

It’s not just Senate Democrats speaking out against Patel’s nomination –
some of Patel’s harshest critics are from other conservative Republicans
who previously served alongside him during Trump’s first term!

speak out in opposition to his confirmation – call your senators today! >>

The Senate could vote as soon as next week! We need an overwhelming outcry
