Last week, Donald Trump suggested that the United States will “buy” and
“own” the Gaza Strip after pushing Palestinians off of the “uninhabitable”
land that Israel destroyed with billions of dollars of U.S. bombs and
weapons.

Now, after admitting “a civilization’s been wiped out in Gaza,” Trump says
the U.S. is just going to “take it.”

buy. It’s a war-torn area, we’re gonna take it. We’re gonna hold it, we’re
gonna cherish it.” He has no authority to do this. This is absolutely
insane talk.

This is happening at the very same time that Netanyahu is actively
violating Israel’s ceasefire agreement, killing more Palestinians and
blocking aid.

tents to enter Gaza. Israel has only allowed in 20,000. The deal required
60,000 mobile housing units to enter Gaza. Israel has allowed in *zero.*
Netanyahu and Trump are sabotaging the deal to pursue ethnic cleansing
over peace and diplomacy.

Trump and Netanyahu are defying international law and undermining any
chance at peace and a Palestinian state. We cannot sit by and quietly let
them.
