I wanted you to hear it from me: I won’t be running for re-election to the United States Senate in 2026.

I’m not going anywhere yet — I’ve still got almost a full two years left in my term, and I intend to spend every minute of it representing your interests in the Senate. 

I can’t say how thankful I am for this team for having my back all these years. You are the reason I was able to do this important work in the first place, so thank you.
