What we’re seeing right now from the executive branch is scary.

Trump’s biggest billionaire supporter, Elon Musk, is getting access to our most sensitive data – data that he stands to benefit from. Executive orders are being signed to bypass Congress that will change the fundamental nature of our democracy.

This isn’t how our government is supposed to work, and it should concern us all as we approach our democracy’s 250th birthday. Will it survive?

I was elected to represent the people of WA-08, and I take that responsibility seriously. I will do everything in my power to fight back against these dangerous power grabs. But I can’t do it alone.

That's why my team and I have set a mid-month goal to raise $5,000 and ensure we have the resources needed to rebuild and strengthen this campaign for the fights ahead. If we fall short, it’ll be that much harder to stay competitive in the 2026 midterms – our next opportunity to restore checks and balances and block Trump’s power grab.
