Team, did the American people elected Donald Trump or Elon Musk, as the president in November?
Recently, it’s been tough to figure out who is really making the decisions in the White House.
Here’s what Elon Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has tried to do in the last three weeks:
- Gut USAID, which provides critical resources to prevent disease and famine abroad and at home.
-
Slash funding for the National Institute of Health (NIH) which funds vital research into cancer and disease.
-
Dismantle the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), which was created after the 2008 Wall Street crash to protect American consumers, like you, from predatory financial institutions.
- Gain control of the Treasury Department's payment system, putting the private information of millions of Americans at risk.
-
Undermine National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), which leads the world in climate science.
Elon's not stopping there. DOGE has also been drawing up plans to carve up the Department of Defense, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Department of Education.
Elon Musk, whose net worth is nearly $400 billion, used his immense wealth and influence to help elect Donald Trump and gain access to the White House. Now, he has free rein from Trump to do whatever he wants.
Michael is all for cutting federal waste, but let’s see if DOGE finds the billions of dollars in government subsidies to Elon Musk’s companies to be ‘government waste.’ Something tells us they won't.
Michael won’t let Trump or Musk get away with unconstitutional, illegal actions, and he’s using every tool at his disposal to stop them— but he can’t do it alone.
Will you make a donation today to show that you’ve got Michael’s back and support his efforts to rein in an unelected billionaire?
