Friend --
Look, we know that last week we
told you we had the biggest Day of Action in Country First History.
But today we just broke that record with over 2,000 people requesting
to join! In fact, we had so many requests that we broke Zoom (don’t
worry - our tech team is looking into it). Over the last 4
weeks, we have mobilized over 5,000 volunteers for our
democracy. Some groups just
talk about problems - we work to solve
them.
Our Days of Action are built for one purpose: to equip and
empower you. They’re here to
show you that action doesn’t have to be overwhelming or out of reach.
It’s about finding the community, the energy, and the courage to stand
up for what’s right in your own neighborhood. And the feedback we’ve
received? It’s clear—they’re working. Today, in just 20 minutes,
Country First made over 3,000 phone calls
to Congress lobbying targeted
Members to do what's right and stand up to the unlawful actions of
DOGE. But it’s not just about the change we’re driving in Washington.
It’s about what it’s doing for you. Taking action isn’t
as scary as you think, and once you experience it, you’ll want to keep
going. Join us again and be part of something
bigger.
So if you’re ready to keep action
going, if you’re ready to keep making a difference, if you’re ready to
be bold for democracy, here is how:
-
Check out our Day of Action Debrief to
keep making calls: https://www.country1st.com/doa_debrief
-
Register
for our next Day of Action, on Thursday, February 20th, at 1:00pm ET Congress and the
Executive Branch MUST uphold the rulings of the
Judiciary—ignoring them is a direct threat to our democracy.
We’re mobilizing to flood their offices with calls demanding they
respect the courts, stop DOGE, and act as a true
coequal branch of government.
It’s time for Congress to stand up, push back against executive
overreach, and reaffirm America’s commitment to democracy.
We can do this, we can make a
difference, because we have each other. Let’s keep putting one foot in
front of the other, putting Country First in all we do.
Onward, The Country First Team https://www.country1st.com/
