Happy Valentine’s Day. It’s the day for loving, as you know. And, as you may not know, it’s a day for fighting.
For years, Valentine’s Day was the day when people in the LGBTQ+ community pressed the fight for marriage equality. On Valentine’s Day 2004 (Feb. 12 to be exact), then San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom declared a “Winter of Love” and over the next month issued thousands of marriage licenses to same-sex couples, in defiance of California law.
It was a turning point in the campaign for marriage equality. Just over a year later, the Supreme Court ruled that states are required by the 14th Amendment to license same-sex marriages.

Now it’s time to fight again.
To defend marriage equality from the extremists who want to reverse that Supreme Court ruling. Extremists like the authors of Project 2025, who are demanding the government impose a definition of marriage that’s “biblically based.”
The fight will be hard but we can win. Not long ago, we thought a marriage equality law would never come. But, working together, we made it happen. And, working together again, we can make sure marriage equality remains law.
What can you do?
Here’s one thing: join CREDO Mobile, the only phone company that believes in marriage equality as much as you do.
Before the Supreme Court’s decision, we fought for marriage equality at the state level and helped pass same-sex marriage laws across the U.S., from California to Maine.
To date, we’ve donated over $2 Million to groups working to defend marriage equality, including the National LGBTQ Task Force, Freedom to Marry, the Courage Campaign, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network and the ACLU.
Are you ready to fight for marriage equality? Then, let’s fight together. Switch to CREDO Mobile.
