EGLE plugs two leaking wells in Ottawa County lake, only the second such operation in 30 years [ [link removed] ]

EGLE has tackled two leaking wells in a Michigan lake – only the second time it has encountered such a challenge in roughly 30 years.

Crews used a barge-mounted drilling rig to seal the orphaned Van Single 1 and 2 wells in the Bend Area Park, just north of Jenison in Ottawa County.
