Climate Justice

Valentine’s Day in the US finds the country—and the world—in a dark place. In this week’s Climate Justice newsletter, we ask: How do we continue to care for each other and the planet in such challenging times? First, as climate events strike globally with increasing frequency, we unpack the idea of the ‘climate haven,’ a place safe from climate change. Was any place ever a refuge? Then, despite popular discourse, not only is empathy not a sin, it’s necessary to survive these difficult days. Next, why we need to break up with capitalism in the belief that something better is out there. Finally, join NPQ on February 20 at 2 pm EST as we host a webinar on nonprofit and philanthropic advocacy in a second Trump administration.
