Hello,
I wanted to send an exciting update: RG’s member-led Fund Abortion Now! Campaign has reached the end of its planned 3-year timeline after successfully raising more than $2 million for the National Network of Abortion Funds and its affiliates as well as providing political education on reproductive justice for RG members and our community! We are looking clear-eyed at the reality that our reproductive freedoms continue to be under increased attack more than ever. And yet, we’ve kept hearing since our first event that providers, abortion funds, and organizers are still able to be creative and provide needed care and assistance despite restrictions and attacks on their organizing. That means it is more critical than ever to have committed, politically educated donor organizers fighting for bodily autonomy and reproductive justice.
We want to invite RG members interested in visioning or helping with the next chapter of reproductive justice organizing in RG to attend and participate in our Community Brainstorming Event on February 20 from 6:30-8 PM ET.

The Fund Abortion Now! campaign offered lots of opportunities for learning and skills building in fundraising, event planning, research/design, and coordinator roles; and we also saw existing donor/repro organizers be reinvigorated by their involvement with the FAN! campaign. We hope the future RJ organizing within RG will offer all of these things and more. Please consider joining this event and sharing the invitation with friends. I am excited for you to lend your voice and ideas for what RG members can do in 2025 and beyond to become transformative funders and supporters in the continued fight for reproductive justice.
We also put together this document of how the FAN campaign was organized and some reflections from members on what worked/what they thought could be improved. We hope it’s helpful for future member-led organizing within RG!
